Good free Spam protection for Outlook and Outlook Express

I went looking for a good free spam killer for Outlook, because the test-period on my current one has run out and I don’t want to have the limitations of their free version.

So I googled and stumbled upon “SpamAware“. Basically it checks your mail for suspicious content and if it identifies the e-mail as spam, it does with it what you want (delete or move to a certain folder…).

Removing Windows Messenger from Windows XP

First of all, close the Messenger.
Click start and then click “Run…”
copy and paste this:
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\inf\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Hit the ENTER key and off you go. Windows will tell you some balony about how some programs need the Messenger, and so on, just ignore it and click ok.

That’s it.

PS:
If you use Outlook Express, this will also make it start a lot faster than before.
